Toormina man faces court over alleged scam against Sydney law firm

Police have charged a 58-year-old man with knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime. (Supplied: NSW Police)

A NSW Mid North Coast man has faced court today charged over an alleged $700,000 online business scam against a Sydney-based law firm.

Anthony Gerard Kent was arrested at a home in Toormina on February 23 after a 10-month investigation by the state's police cybercrime squad.

The 58-year-old has been charged with knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime.
