Too Hot To Handle star Chloe Veitch brands show 'rehab for sex'

Chloe Veitch, of smash Netflix dating show Too Hot To Handle, has described her experience on the show as being like rehab for sex.

The 21-year-old Essex girl was one of the 14 contestants taking part on the sizzling show with the challenging twist that participants are banned from sexual activity.

The contestants were competing for an £80,000 cash jackpot – but money was deducted whenever any of the attractive 20-somethings did anything even remotely sexual, including kissing.

With the rationale of the contest being the hope that participants would develop deeper relationships rather than quick sexual flings, Chloe says the experiment was a success.

“It was sexual rehabilitation for everyone,” Chloe told The Sun – explaining that taking part on Too Hot To Handle has made her change her habits of lighthearted Tinder dating.

“I was a serial dater and would always have a few guys on the go. I was addicted to Tinder, swiping all day. It was a confidence boost for me,” she said.

“But I never chose the best guys. I’ve been hurt before and have an emotional barrier up.”

Viewers of Too Hot To Handle watched the contestants squirm when they were told that they wouldn’t be able to engage in sexual activity.

And Chloe said she noticed a difference between the reaction of the male and female contestants.

“For some of the guys, sex was like a daily exercise for them. It opened my eyes – guys actually love sex. I realised, ‘This is why they don’t text me back’. Once I’ve kissed someone, they don’t want to know,” she said.

The show has been a hit and has been hailed as the new Love Island.

Participants joined the series from countries including the UK, Ireland, USA and Australia – with the show filming in a luxury beach side villa in Mexico.

And some couples have gone on to enjoy love beyond the end of the show  – with some now  planning children  and  matching tattoos.
