Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream release date countdown

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is an upcoming social simulation game from Nintendo in which you can create your own island full of characters and give them various roles and personalities. It’s the sequel to 2014’s Tomodachi Life, which went viral because of its absurd player-created Mii characters that would spew goofy dialogues and do irrational things.

What to expect from Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream?

Much like The Sims, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream lets you create Mii characters to populate your tropical island. You can give Mii unique personalities, like making them a serious or chill thinker.

You can set the tone of their robotic speech, anything from polite to rude. You can also teach them goofy phrases that they could repeat. Also, aside from creating your own, you can borrow Mii from your friends.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is all about playing god and managing the lives of your Mii. You can put a Mii next to another, and they might get acquainted and eventually fall in love. Others can quarrel, get a job, or hang out by the beach–there are just too many ways this can go!

This is your island, which means you can add a wide variety of shops and restaurants for Mii to hang around. Fulfilling your Mii’s request and keeping them happy will get you money, which you can spend on shops to get new clothes or decorative items for them.

Unlike the first game, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream lets you create non-binary and aromantic Mii. Additionally, same-sex relationships are possible this time around.

That’s everything you need to know about Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Unlike many first-party Switch releases, this costs $59.99.
