The Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream demo has been out in the wild for about a day or so now, having dropped seemingly out of the blue yesterday – and, unsurprisingly, players are already concocting some of the wildest Miis I've ever seen.
Take the abundance of Mii customization options in similar wacky titles like Miitopia and, of course, the original Tomodachi Life, and then multiply it tenfold – that's what the Living the Dream Mii creator has to offer… or so it feels like, anyway.
And, to nobody's surprise, creative fans are taking advantage of it via the new free demo. How about a recreation of a villager from Minecraft? Yep, they've pulled that off already.
The new mii editor is awesome from r/tomodachilife
Or, maybe, a villager from another game… Animal Crossing? Yeah, here's Stitches from New Horizons. The accurate depictions of characters from various titles don't end there, though.
We've also got Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil Requiem, actor Jack Black, the adorable Ditto from Nintendo's new release Pokemon Pokopia, and you name it. Creations range from hilarious to realistic to strange to… downright spooky.
I made "Human" Ditto from Pokémon Pokopia, and they used Transform! from r/tomodachilife
I mean, just look at this recreation of the Smile.jpg creepypasta from ye olde interwebs days. I don't know whether I'm terrified or just impressed by the ridiculous attention to detail with the new Mii paint tool. I also can't get enough of another player's take on streamer Jerma985, which is just as eerily visually mind-boggling.
There are plenty of "animals" floating about, too, including a, uh, Mii of Ben from that cursed Talking Tom & Friends series.
i attempted to make ben from r/tomodachilife
There's Bowser and Princess Peach as well, and Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series… I think it'd take less time to write out what fans haven't come up with yet than what they have.
I'd recommend browsing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream demo tags online and poking around communities for more amusing Miis – there are plenty to peruse, and it's well worth it for a quick laugh. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a few Miis to tweak myself.
