The Tommy Tiernan Show viewers appeared to be unanimous with their praise for Ruth Codd after the Irish actress and amputee appeared on the popular RTE show this weekend.
Codd, whose left leg had to be amputated after it failed to heal properly following a break, was the first guest to join Tommy Tiernan on Saturday night's episode of his talk show, on which he has no idea who he will be speaking to beforehand.
As is often the case on The Tommy Tiernan Show, Codd had to enlighten the host regarding who she is and she explained how gaining viral fame on TikTok for her portrayal of a nun earned her a casting call for Netflix's hit series The Midnight Club.

Codd, 26, also opened up on the bullying she experienced while suffering through an injury that saw her undergo several operations in an attempt to save her left leg before ultimately accepting that it would need to be amputated.
"Everyone worries if people don't like you, life does beat it out of you. For me, the bullying, it was more emotional bullying, like leaving you out and talking behind your back," Codd said as she recalled an instance when her crutches were pulled from underneath her at a party.
While Codd may not have been a household name prior to Saturday night's episode of The Tommy Tiernan Show, the actress earned herself plenty of fans with an endearingly brave, open and honest interview.
"Best EVER interview…Best Ever Interview with Ruth Codd ..I never heard of her before but she knocked my socks off," one social media user commented. "So young ..so aware ..so able ..so talented..so brave ..Ruth is beyond amazing ! Please pass on my admiration."
Another added: "Said it a few months ago when I saw Midnight Club that Ruth Codd is simply amazing. Phenomenal actress & if given what she deserves, back her now for winning an Oscar. Raw talent and she will go all the way in superstardom. Love Irish success stories and this is one in the making."
"Ruth Codd is a ray of sunshine I'm beaming at the telly watching her she's brilliant," another comment read.
