FAR-RIGHT activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, better known as Tommy Robinson, has allegedly been detained at an undisclosed airport by Counter Terrorism Police.
Yaxley-Lennon claimed today on his social media page that he has once again been detained at an airport - having had the same thing happen at Heathrow Airport earlier this year. Then, he also had his phones seized under section 3 of the Counter-Terrorism Border Security Act 2019.
On a post on X written by an admin, his account reads: “Tommy has been detained again, at an airport by Counter Terrorism Police.
“They will never stop trying to destroy this man.
“Why are they so scared?”
Yaxley-Lennon has had similar situations in recent years, too.
Last year, British Transport Police arrested a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire, understood to be Robinson, at Luton Airport.
This was in relation to a viral video following reports of an assault at St Pancras station - however, no charges were made as the victim did not wish to provide a statement.
As a result, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) concluded last year that there was not a “realistic prospect of conviction”.
