Tommy Lee has finally addressed his reasoning behind posting a graphic full-frontal nudity snap earlier this month.
The Mötley Crüe star, 59, horrified his fanbase when he snuck past Instagram's strict guidelines and shared a full-frontal nude photo of himself on August 11.
The musician captioned the post: 'Ooooopppsss' as if it was just a casual photograph - when in reality his entire manhood was on show for the world to see.
Tommy took the selfie from a high angle, giving followers a clear view of his assets. He appeared to be sitting at the side of a swimming pool.
It took Instagram officials around five hours to notice the shocking photo before it was taken down.
Now, weeks after he posted the graphic snap, Tommy Lee has opened up about why he posted it in the first place.
The musician admitted that he was drunk when he took to Instagram to post the racy snap.
"A couple of weeks ago, we had like a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a motherf***ing bender, bro,” he told the crowd during a recent concert in San Antonio, Texas.
“I got f**king sideways as f**k and got naked and posted pictures of my d***.”
“And usually, I mean I’m a t**ty man, so I like to see boobies, but tonight is equal-opportunity night,” he continued.
The singer then continued by asking the male audience members to whip out their d***s in solidarity.
"Tonight I wanna see everyone’s d**k. C’mon boys, pull your d**ks out. Pull your f**king junk out. Let’s go.”
After Tommy's initial graphic post, fans couldn't believe their eyes and took to the comment section as well as his other posts to ask him what was going on.
"TOM YOU CANT POST THIS ON INSTAGRAM," one user said while another added: "So we just gonna pretend nothing happened huh."
Tommy's wife Brittany Furlan clearly didn't expect to see his penis on the internet and said: "OH MY GOD".
Meanwhile, many others told the star to 'go to sleep' before he caused more online damage.
