Tommy Fury stopped from travelling to US for Jake Paul press conference

Tommy Fury has been prevented from flying to the United States where he was due to meet Jake Paul at a press conference in New York tomorrow.

Fury's rescheduled grudge match with YouTube sensation Paul was last week officially confirmed for August 6 at Madison Square Garden. The fight was announced shortly after Fury's dad, John, admitted Tommy would have to travel stateside without several members of his team.

And Fury has now confirmed he will be able to attend the event - which was later cancelled - plunging his fight with the social media star into doubt. Speaking on Instagram, he said: "Me and my team arrived at Heathrow Airport ready to fly out and as soon as I entered the airport I was pulled to one side and told by a Homeland Security officer that my ESTA had been denied and that I wasn't able to travel to the USA for a reason I apparently know.
