Tommy Fury says he did his boxing match for his new daughter Bambi as he appeared on Good Morning Britain today.
The Love Island star and boxer recently won his big fight against YouTuber Jake Paul, whilst he has also become a dad, welcoming baby Bambi with his partner Molly Mae Hague. The couple met on Love Island a few series back and have been inseparable since.
Now, Tommy has spoken about how much his family mean to him, and how he did the boxing match - which he got his highest pay day ever for - for his daughter and family, as he chatted with Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on the ITV breakfast show today.
Speaking on the ITV show today, he said: "At the end of the day, it was a career high pay day for me. But not for me should I say, because everything I do now in my career is for Bambi. Everything I do is to make sure she's happy and has a good life for herself.
"Whatever I can do to make sure she had that, that's enough for me. This victory, it was for her and for both of them. At the end of the day, I've been training and Molly's been amazing. She's the best woman any man can ask for. I owe everything to her and Bambi."
Following his win, Molly Mae rushed to social media to congratulate her boyfriend.
Sharing a snap of Tommy with his winning belt, she said: "Never a doubt in my mind," before shared a snap of her kissing Tommy whilst she was holding their daughter Bambi and wrote: "The pressure that was in this boys shoulders...I will never ever know how he dealt with it. Never been more proud of anyone in my life. GET HOME TO US OUR CHAMP."
Tommy previously told how Molly-Mae has dealt with "everything by herself" since the birth of their daughter Bambi.
Speaking to the BBC before the fight, he said: "You know, Molly's took it upon herself to deal with everything herself. You know, she hasn't bothered me once about anything. She's been absolutely amazing.
"She's got through everything by herself. And I think people need to stand up and give her a lot of credit for that."
At a press conference to launch their fight, Jake appeared to try and make an apology for revealing all about the baby's arrival, handing over a gift for newborn Bambi which he accepted gracefully despite their previous war of words.
"This guy is all the way overseas and he's putting out a statement, so are 20 million other people. He doesn't know anything about our private life. Me and Molly both looked at that like 'okay, sweet,'" Tommy said.
