Tommy Fury issues withering reaction to KSI's farcical fight with rapper Swarmz

Tommy Fury was less than impressed with KSI's return to the ring after the YouTuber stopped Swarmz in the second round.

KSI is fighting twice tonight, and will take on professional fighter Luis Pineda later, and had been expected to stop his first opponent in the first round. KSI did at least drop Swarmz in the opening three minutes but the former semi-professional footballer rose to beat the count and made it to the end of the session.

But when he was dumped on the canvas again in the second round, he gave no indication he wanted to continue, despite the pleas from his team. And Fury, who has been linked with a fight with KSI, took to social media to say simply: "What have I just seen?"

Earlier this week, KSI's team revealed they considered making an offer to Fury when his original opponent Alex Wassabi pulled out with concussion. "We didn't approach him but we were thinking about it before we went down the two fight route," promoter Kalle Sauerland said.

"We were thinking about putting the feelers out there but we understood he wasn't in the right physical shape to come in on shorter notice which is fair enough. But yeah, why not in the future?"

Fury twice signed to fight KSI's bitter rival Jake Paul but had to pull out on both occasions; once through injury and again when he was banned from flying to the USA last month. He has yet to announce his next fight and KSI revealed he could make an approach to the brother of heavyweight legend Tyson.

“I’m definitely down to fight Tommy Fury, one hundred per cent,” he told talkSPORT. “I don’t want to say too much, but for me that could make sense for my next fight after the 27th. “There’s obviously other names, but Tommy Fury is one of the names.”
