Tommy Fury whisked himself away for some warm weather training in Dubai earlier this month and partner Molly-Mae Hague was seemingly supportive of her beau on Instagram.
However, the boxer, 22, has revealed that all might not have been as amicable behind closed doors.
The couple who found love on reality dating show Love Island in 2019 had to spend some time apart because of the trip and Tommy has revealed that 22-year-old Molly-Mae wasn't too impressed with him.
He confessed that the blonde beauty was gutted to see him go again as he attempted to keep himself in the perfect condition for his next fight.
Speaking on his YouTube channel prior to his travels, Tommy said: "We are in a bit of a different location, we are in the business lounge in Emirates.
"I am going to Dubai, I've not really got anything to do at home. I'm just training, so I thought to myself why not go and train abroad, in a hot country, get some sun, a bit of a change."
As he smiled at the camera, the sports star added: "I booked myself a flight last night.
"Molly wasn't too happy about it because Molly's got a week of important meetings she can't miss.
"So even though she wasn't really busy, she was busy. She hates to see me go again but I wasn't really doing anything at home."
Tommy had sent pulses racing at the weekend after uploading several topless selfies from his trip which showed off his muscly and tanned torso.
Molly-Mae shared her appreciation of her man on both posts by leaving a selection of comments, while some of his fans joked that she's a lucky lady.
Tommy is working tirelessly to prepare for his next boxing after he devastatingly had to withdraw from what would have been his biggest test to date against rival YouTuber Jake Paul.
However, as he keeps himself in tip-top shape, Tommy is hopeful of getting a slot on the undercard of brother Tyson's mega fight with Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April.
While he continues to prepare for his next fight, he refuses to rule out facing Jake in the ring in the future in a rescheduled bout.
Speaking to Sky Sports he said: "I'd look to see the [Paul] fight happen by the back end of the year. I'm not really waiting around for it, he knows I'm ready to fight at all times.
"I've put that out there countless times, I'm not the issue here. If the man wanted to fight we'd have a rescheduled date by now.
"The ball's in his court, I'm ready to fight whenever. I would like to see it happen at the end of the year, I know Frank [Warren] is still trying to reach out to him and stuff like that."
