Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz found himself in hot water with his friend Tom Sandoval after a recent episode of the reality show featured a controversial joke. During the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Sandoval expressed missing his dog Mya, whom he adopted with ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix in 2020. Schwartz then made a comment insinuating that Sandoval had tried to harm the dog, leading to an uncomfortable moment between the friends.
The joke stemmed from a heated exchange between Sandoval and Ariana during the episode, where Ariana accused Sandoval of locking Mya in her room for hours, causing the dog to chew on potentially harmful items. The tension between the exes was palpable, especially as they were still living together at the time of filming.
