During the show's after show, Sandoval revealed that communication between them had ceased prior to his appearance on Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, which was filmed just before the start of Vanderpump Rules season 11 last summer.
Sandoval expressed that cutting ties with Leviss was extremely difficult for him, especially considering the support he had been providing her following her stay at The Meadows, a mental health facility in Arizona. Leviss had entered The Meadows to address her trauma and love addiction, which became a topic of discussion during the intense season 10 reunion. During that time, it was revealed that Sandoval and Leviss had been involved in a months-long affair behind the backs of their friends and Sandoval's then-girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix.
