Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton emotional Celtic goodbyes surface with 'love you' dressing room message

Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton's emotional behind the scenes Celtic goodbye's have surfaced as they duo brought an end to trophy-laden stays in the summer.

The Hoops pair decided to depart Ange Postecoglou's men at the end of last season as they helped the club reclaim the Scottish Premiership crown from rivals Rangers and lift the Premier Sports Cup in a domestic double. That league triumph also secured Champions League football for this term - although the Scottish champions are officially out at the group stages in a section that contained Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk and RB Leipzig.

Rogic and Bitton were both brilliant servants to the club playing under the likes of Neil Lennon, Brendan Rodgers and Postecoglou last term. Both played major roles in the success over the last near decade, but decided to pursue new opportunities. It was an emotional ending as they bid farewell to the Parkhead faithful and now their message to team-mates in the dressing room from Celtic's We.Never.Stop DVD has emerged online.

Bitton went first and said: "A very successful period of my life. I came here as a young boy and I end this journey with a family, two kids two and three, and honestly I couldn't share this journey with other people.

"I really want to say thank you boys for being there. For bringing this club to where it belongs after what we've been through last season. And I just want to thank you for everything, and all the best next season."

Rogic added: "I don't want to cry again but thanks to everyone, it's been an amazing time here.

"Some of you I've only met this year, others have been around for nine-and-a-half years. I'm going to miss you all, I'm going to miss every day coming in.

"I'm just really happy that we finished on a high note. Players, staff, I'm going to miss you all. Love you guys."
