Stephen Robinson Beerschot St Mirren Belgium Scottish Premiership Buddies

St Mirren are eyeing a deal for former Beerschot midfielder Tom Pietermaat.

The 29-year-old Belgian left the second tier side earlier this week and has crossed Stephen Robinson 's radar as he targets re-enforcements in the middle of the park.

Pietermaat, who played alongside Dundee United star Lawrence Shankland in Antwerp, could become the Saints boss' fourth signing since replacing Jim Goodwin in Paisley.
