Tom Lawrence has opened up on his decision to join Rangers over Sheffield United with trophy success a major factor in his move north of the border.
The 28-year-old has joined the Light Blues as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's third summer recruit following John Souttar's arrival on a pre-contract agreement from Hearts earlier this year before Antonio Colak put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth after a near £2million switch to Ibrox from Greek outfit PAOK.
It's set to be a big season for Rangers as they bid to win the Scottish Premiership title back from Celtic and earn a spot in the Champions League this season with two rounds of qualifying to negotiate. Lawrence has stated at his age he wants to taste success and win silverware as he hailed his new side as a 'massive club' and 'one of the biggest around'.

The former Derby County midfielder - who has joined on a free transfer - has opened up on what he hopes to bring to the team over the course of the new season.
He told Rangers TV: "At the stage of my career I’m at now I want to be winning stuff and Rangers are a massive club. I want to be part of a successful team here.
"The stature of the club. It’s one of the biggest clubs around. I want to win things at my age and they’ve got a great team already and I want to be a part of a great team this season.
"Hopefully I can add goals and assists. I’m a team player and I like to work hard. Overall I want to add to the attacking side of the game and hopefully score quite a few goals.
"It’s massive, you see the run they went on in the Europa League and they were unlucky not to win it in the end. They’re already a great team and I want to add to that and help the team move forward.
"Every player wants to play on the biggest stage and that’s what I want to do moving forward."
