Tom Lawrence has delivered a short 16 word update as he bids for a Rangers return.
Giovanni van Bronkhorst moved to bring in the former Derby County midfielder on a free transfer during the summer window and he got off to a flying start at the Light Blues. The 28-year-old grabbed three goals and two assists inside his opening nine games, including an important Champions League strike against PSV at Ibrox in the qualifying rounds.
His long-term absence has been a major blow to Rangers with recent results and performances leaving them trailing rivals Celtic by nine points in the race for the Premiership title. The midfielder also missed the disappointing group stage campaign at Europe's top table that ended with the unwanted tag as the 'worst ever' after a -20 goal difference and six defeats from six against Liverpool, Napoli and Ajax.

Lawrence is just one of a number of big players including Connor Goldson that has been missing for the Ibrox men but he's now offered an update on his progress as he bids to get back to action ahead of a big second part of the campaign.
He uploaded a picture of himself taking a corner at Ibrox alongside the following message: "Tough couple of months with injuries, the hard work continues to get back under the lights."
Rangers return to domestic action on December 15 against Hibs following the World Cup shutdown. It's an important period for the Ibrox men who also face Aberdeen, Ross County and Motherwell before the next Old Firm derby on January 2.
The much-needed break will afford the players the chance to recharge ahead of a vitally important period.
Bayer Leverkusen will also visit Ibrox on December 10 in a glamour friendly before the Premiership action gets back underway.
