Tom Heaton has piled the praise on Erik ten Hag for bringing 'clear ideas and new intensity' to Manchester United in his first weeks on the job.
The Dutchman began his reign as United manager in fantastic fashion with a 4-0 win over Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday, a result that gave fans fresh hope of a bright future under their new boss.
Despite playing against a heavily-changed Liverpool side, United still managed to impress with their overall performance and, in particular, the high intensity with which they played.

Back-up goalkeeper Heaton admits he has been impressed by the work done by Ten Hag already and is excited by what the future holds for the club.
"The new manager's come in and he's been brilliant to be fair," Heaton told United View.
"He's been really good; new structure, new ideas, new intensity; he's got a really clear idea of what he wants to do with it, and the boys have taken to it.
"They've had to up their tempo physically, they've got a much more structured idea of how they want to play, and he's made it tough. We're all in it together, and it has been brilliant so far.
"I think you can see that today. Look, I know it is only pre-season, but I think you can start to see that there is a little bit of an edge to the team. There is a bit more; you can see it coming through, and it has been really good so far. Hopefully, we'll continue to move it forward."
When asked what his message to the supporters was ahead of another important season, Heaton added: "I think it is looking good. It takes time. I don't think it'll change over night, but I think the foundations have been put in place.
"Everyone in the building wants to kick it forward. We've seen the appetite for that in training. I'd say it is time to be optimistic."
