Actor Tom Hardy will be returning to CBeebies to read a bedtime story for children to celebrate 75 years of the NHS - and mums are thrilled with the announcement.
The star of films including The Revenant, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk and Venom has already made several appearances on CBeebies Bedtime Stories in the past and has proved to be one of the most popular readers. He will be back on the chidren's channel on Wednesday, July 5 - the 75th anniversary of the National Health Service.
Tom will read Zog and the Flying Doctors by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The book tells the story of Princess Pearl, Sir Gadabout and their trusty 'air ambulance' Zog the dragon as they fly around and tend to a sunburnt mermaid, a distressed unicorn and a sneezy lion.
