Tom Hanks has revealed what Queen Elizabeth II's favourite cocktail is.
The Castaway actor appeared on The One Show this week and was asked about what it was like meeting the Queen in 2011.
He was attending a special dinner even for the former President of the United States and the First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama.
Host Emma Willis asked the star about his dinner with the Queen as the UK leads up to her Platinum Jubilee.
"Big week for us in the UK as you’ll probably know it’s the Platinum Jubilee celebrations," she asked the Forrest Gump actor.
"Tom, I believe you have actually had dinner with the Queen?"
He told the host that he sat next to the Queen and 'some lady in a lovely tiara' who was right next to him.
Tom said: "I was dressed up very nicely. The chit chat with the Queen is something you’ve got to get ready for."
The 65-year-old added: "I knew I was going to be sat next to her and so I wanted to be able to talk about things that were of import but not presumptuous.
“Then out of the corner of my eye, I just saw this white-gloved hand put between me and Her Majesty this glass of water. But it wasn’t in a water glass."
Noticing it was a clear liquid, he 'dared' to ask the Queen: "What is Your Majesty’s cocktail of choice?"
She had answered him: "Ooh, martini!"
Tom continued: "She had the one, that’s what she nursed throughout the course of the night, and I think, well, she’s had a wonderful reign so maybe if I were to polish up my game a bit I’ll start to drink martinis."

Meanwhile, Tom has been preparing for the release of his upcoming movie about the royalty of a different kind.
The iconic actor stars in Elvis, a highly-anticipated movie about the King of Rock and Roll.
It stars Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Tom as Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' manager, with the movie following the life of the legendary singer.
Other stars in the film include Helen Thomson, Richard Roxburgh, Olivia DeJonge, Dacre Montgomery and Luke Bracey.
Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, is set to premiere on June 24 around the world.
