Tom DeLonge experienced a health scare during a recent performance with Blink-182 in Paraguay. The 48-year-old musician revealed on Instagram that he suffered heat stroke on stage during the band's concert at Asunciónico. DeLonge described feeling dizzy and nauseous before briefly leaving the stage to recover. Despite the extreme conditions of performing in 95-degree heat at 11 pm, he managed to return and finish the show with the support of his bandmates.
During the concert, DeLonge had to take a break during the song 'More Than You Know' due to his condition. Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker improvised to keep the show going until DeLonge was able to rejoin them on stage. The band continued to deliver a high-energy performance, playing a total of 16 more songs before concluding the gig.
Blink-182 is currently on tour in South America, with upcoming performances at Lollapalooza Brazil and various venues in Mexico. Their One More Time tour in the U.S. is scheduled to kick off on June 20 in Orlando and includes stops at major cities like Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston, culminating in a show in Toronto on August 15. The band's latest album, 'One More Time,' was released in October 2023 under Columbia Records.
