NFL legend Tom Brady is set to retire from American football, signalling the end of one of the greatest sporting careers of all-time.

American outlet ESPN say the 44-year-old has decided to call time on his career following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defeat to the Los Angeles Rams during last weekend’s Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, which ended the franchise’s hopes of retaining their Super Bowl crown.
