Tom Brady hits out at "embarrassing" team-mates in latest rant in final NFL season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has taken aim at his team-mates yet again despite Sunday's impressive win over the LA Rams. Brady hit an unprecedented record by passing the 100,000 passing yards mark, but has now criticised his team-mates again.

Earlier in the season, Brady was filmed launching into an astonishing rant at his team-mates, telling them "you're so much better than the way you're f***ing playing."

He then went on to claim he and his team-mates didn't deserve to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers after they fell to a 3-3 record, saying the Buccaneers were playing less than they were capable of.

This is expected to be Brady's final season in the NFL before he retires, again, to go and work for Fox Sports as an analyst. Sunday's win over the Rams snapped a streak of five defeats in six games, and could be a turning point in the season.

But Brady still isn't happy, and claimed the Buccaneers are "embarrassing" in the way they approach games.

He explained on his 'Let's Go!' Podcast: "The best teams start playing well around Thanksgiving. That’s because you basically figured out what you are and what you need to do, and there’s definitely some things we do well but there’s a lot of things we don’t do well.

"I think too much of good, bad, good, bad, good, bad, leaves you average and no one’s trying to be average. If you want to be a great team, you gotta be way better than average.

"So correcting our mistakes, improving our effort — which that is probably the most embarrassing part of our team is our effort level on game-day, and that’s something we better fix."

Brady and the Buccaneers will travel to Europe this weekend for the first-ever NFL regular season game in Germany. The Bucs face the Seattle Seahawks at the Allianz Arena in Munich, and Brady is looking forward to the experience.

He added: "We're playing in this very, very cool arena where Bayern Munich plays, the country's top soccer team, and it looks amazing in pictures.

"It's the chance to go across to another country, play a sport that I love.

"I have heard there's three million ticket requests for 67,000 seats, so the place is gonna be rocking and if it's anything like what I see in those German Bundesliga games this is gonna be one of the most epic games that we've ever played in. I'm super excited."
