After ending what has been a nightmare season for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, attention has now swiftly turned to the 45-year-old's next move.
Less than 12 months ago, Brady announced his intentions to retire from the NFL with immediate effect, but he pulled a sensational U-turn just 40 days later and re-signed with the Buccaneers on a one-year deal.
That came after Brady shocked the NFL world in 2020, when he left the team he'd spent 20 years with, the New England Patriots, to move to the Buccaneers.
Brady, alongside long-time teammate Rob Gronkowski who also joined him with the Florida team, would win a Super Bowl together once again - Brady's seventh - making him the only man with seven rings, with Charles Haley being in second place all-time with five.
A solid 2021 season would follow where the Bucs would be knocked out of the playoffs by the eventual champions, Los Angeles Rams, before a disastrous season just gone - seeing the team make the playoffs with an 8-9 record with the rest of the NFC South mightily struggling, but the Bucs being bounced out in the first-round after being dominated by the Dallas Cowboys.
Before the season had begun, many expected this to be Brady's last campaign, with him turning 46 this upcoming year. But after still showing that he's capable of playing at an elite level, it appears the quarterback will remain in the league, but could look to play elsewhere.
The Buccaneers have limited cap space heading into next season, whilst having to pay a number of their own players and potentially losing some to their roster for the 2023 season.
A number of teams would certainly be interested in Brady, with the Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets being earmarked as favourites - all having a talented roster which Brady could elevate to Super Bowl contenders.
But The Ringer's Bill Simmons believes that three other teams have a chance at acquiring Brady - two that have not been mentioned much thus far.
Speaking on his podcast, he said: "I think the Miami Dolphins are my favourites, my back-up pick is Carolina (Panthers) and I am going to put Houston (Texans) over here as a potential pick just in case Sean Payton goes there, who knows. They have a tonne of picks and they could trade one for Payton.
"If he wants to win a title with Payton, I think Carolina is a good bet."
Brady and the Dolphins have much history, with the Miami team set to lose their first-round draft pick in the 2022 draft after being found to have broken the tampering rules, as they attempted to sign Brady in 2020 as well as in 2022, whilst he was still under contract with the Patriots and Buccaneers.
The Dolphins have one of the best rosters in the league, with arguably the most dynamic wide receiver in Tyreek Hill, along with an offensive-minded head coach, whilst having questions at the position with Tua Tagovailoa suffering three concussions in two months.
The Panthers and Texans are two teams that would be a huge surprise, with both having much to do to their roster to improve for the 2023 season - finishing with poor records from this past campaign.
