Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are two of the greatest quarterbacks ever, and both of them switched teams in the final years of their respective NFL careers. Brady spent 20 years with the Patriots before signing with the Buccaneers, and Rodgers spent 18 seasons with the Packers before he was traded to the Jets.
It worked out well for Brady, as he won a Super Bowl in his first year with Tampa Bay—something Rodgers would love to do in his first year with New York. Sports Illustrated’s Robin Lundberg asked Brady what advice he has for Rodgers as he changes teams with the weight of intense expectations on his shoulders.
“He’s one of the great quarterbacks to ever play the game,” Brady told Lundberg. “I think he’s gonna do a great job. It’s a tough division they’re playing in. They’ve got the Patriots, they’ve got the Dolphins, they’ve got the Bills, who have been great. It’s always tough to bet against Aaron Rodgers, too, because of how prolific he is as both a passer and he’s a Super Bowl champion, so it’s gonna be a great division to watch.”

Rodgers, 39, aims to guide the Jets to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1968 season. The Jets open the 2023 season against the Bills on Monday Night Football on Sept. 11.
