Tom Brady company TB12 Sports bizarrely deletes tweet about QB’s retirement

The news about Tom Brady getting set to retire after 22 unbelievable seasons broke on Saturday afternoon, with multiple reports including one from USA TODAY Sports that the legendary quarterback was going to call it quits.

But something strange happened as the NFL world was sending its congratulations.

TB12 Sports, the company owned by Brady, sent out a tweet of its own listing some of Brady’s accomplishments, finishing it with, “Thank you for it all, @TomBrady.”

But minutes later, it disappeared.

What does it mean? Your guess is as good as mine. There was also Brady’s agent Don Yee sending a statement to reporters that said, in part, “Without getting into the accuracy or inaccuracy of what’s being reported, Tom will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy.”

We’ll hopefully see if this means anything soon enough.
