Viewers tuning in to watch Prince Harry's first sit-down interview with Tom Bradby, who he has known for more than 20 years, were in stitches as the primetime grilling drew to a close. In the ITV1 interview Harry spoke about the revelations in his new autobiography, Spare, including life as a member of the royal family, sibling rivalry with his older brother and heir to the throne Prince William and his troubled relationship with the British press.
Journalist Tom interviewed the "most talked about man in the planet" in a show lasting an hour and 45 minutes as Harrry lifted the lid. "They'll be sitting here reeling at this," said Tom as he pressed Harry about what his family's reaction might be to the programme and to his tell-all memoirs.
"I've done everything I can in private not to get to this stage," Harry defended. Asked if he thought he might be invited to his father King Charles' coronation in May, he said: "There's a lot that can happen between now and then and the ball is in their court."

Harry, 38, told Tom about starting a new life in America with his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet after stepping back as senior royals: "I'm at peace. I'm in a better place than I've ever been."
During the interview excerpts were read out from his autobiography Spare. The Duke has made claims in his book that his father made a joke to his mother Princess Diana when he was born remarking that she had delivered an heir and now a ‘spare’. And viewers were tickled when they thought he ended the grilling with a cheeky pun., sharing laughing and applause emojis.
