Toddler who died after getting trapped between bed bars saves three lives

A 17-month-old girl who died after getting her head stuck between bars on her mum's bed saved three lives by donating her organs.

Little Jessica Farrer's rare AB positive blood type meant she was able to help some of the sickest people on the transplant list.

Her kidneys were both given to a man aged in his 30s who had been on on dialysis a year, while her liver was given to a baby. Meanwhile, her heart was transplanted to a toddler boy.
