Todd Cantwell says the new Rangers arrivals will have no issue bedding into Michael Beale's squad as he looks ahead to his first pre-season at Ibrox.
The playmaker arrived in January alongside Nicolas Raskin after ending his Norwich City stint and Cyriel Dessers is the latest man to be signed as part of boss Beale's rebuild, joining Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling, Jack Butland, Sam Lammers and Abdallah Sima on a summer trip to Germany. Work will continue in preparation for the new Premiership season and Champions League qualifiers, with integrations already taking place with the fresh faces.
Cantwell tells Rangers TV that a competitive game of UNO had Lammers come out as the unsuspecting winner, but simple measures are key to boosting team chemistry with big challenges domestically and in Europe looming. He said when asked if it was nice to be heading into pre-season having been at Rangers for a little while: "100%.
"I feel as if I am part of the team. Don't get me wrong, these boys will feel that quickly as it is a great team but it's nice to have that already.
"Even with staff , you just know everyone, but the boys will be fine. They are good lads, last night we were playing Uno.
"Sam Lammers won, he gave the whole impression 'I don't really play, I don't really understand how to play it' but he knew exactly what he was doing! But it was good fun and it's things like that I think integrate people."
