Chelsea have drawn inspiration from Arsenal as Todd Boehly looks set to bolster Graham Potter's frontline in the forthcoming transfer windows. The Blues spent in the region of £58million on welcoming Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Stamford Bridge in the summer to replace Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku.
Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic were both heavily linked with exits from west London but respective moves failed to materialise. With neither yet to truly nail down a place in Potter's starting-eleven, doubt has been cast over their futures in west London.
football.london understand that Chelsea are open to selling Ziyech should a suitable offer be tabled. It's said that AC Milan made an offer worth €25million (£21million) - with €5million (£4.2million) to be paid this year and €20million (£16.8million) the next - in the summer, which was rejected.

Meanwhile, with regard to Pulisic, the United States international would 'gladly accept' a move to Milan in January if he was to be included in a player plus cash swap deal with Rafael Leao going the other way, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. It's said that the Italian giants have held long interest in the winger.
With a pair of potential exits on the horizon, Boehly has planned out Chelsea's response plan. According to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs, the American billionaire wants to complete a 'marquee Premier League signing' - just as Arsenal did, luring Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.
And, it's said that Harry Kane will be considered. Speaking on the Tottenham Hotspur striker's future to The Football Terrace YouTube channel, Jacobs said: "We know that there was interest from Manchester City a few seasons back.
"Chelsea are the more likely threat coming from the Premier League at the moment. They will look at Harry Kane for sure.
"Todd Boehly is very keen on showing Chelsea can bring in proven Premier League players, particularly attack-minded players," he added. "They want a marquee name from within the Premier League, they want to bring in someone to hit the ground running, look at Gabriel Jesus, how beneficial he has been to Arsenal. Jesus has just been able to transition instantly, Kane would be able to transition instantly."
Signs of this plan that Boehly has can already be seen. Chelsea signed seven players from Premier League clubs in the summer; four for the first-team, three for the Development Squad.
