Julian Nagelsmann was Chelsea's first choice candidate to become their next manager, according to his agent.
The German become one of the early favourites to replace Graham Potter in March after his sudden Bayern Munich exit. However, Nagelsmann reportedly pulled out of the race, leaving Mauricio Pochettino as Todd Boehly's preference for the job.
Pochettino has agreed a deal to take over at Stamford Bridge, football.london understands, and is due to fly into London this week to put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal.
