Chelsea are said to be ready to swap Hakim Ziyech for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in the January transfer window, according to a report from Italy. The 29-year-old winger was heavily linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge after having fallen out of favour under former boss Thomas Tuchel.
football.london understand that the Blues are open to selling Ziyech should a suitable offer be tabled. It's said that AC Milan made an offer of €25million (£21m) - with €5million (£4.2m) to be paid this year and €20million (£16.8m) the next - in the summer, which was rejected.
According to Football Italia, as quoted by the MailOnline, the Moroccan's lawyer, Sebastien Ledure, has held talks with the Rossoneri over a move this winter as Ziyech looks to secure first-team opportunities. He's featured just five times for Chelsea this season, averaging just 34.4 minutes a game.

The report states that Ledure met with Milan chiefs last week to discuss a potential move after the World Cup. Ziyech, who sees his contract in west London expire in 2025, is said to be a long-term target for the Italian side, and his lawyer could wrap up a deal.
But, with the Blues reigniting interest in Rabiot, Ziyech could now be joining a different club in the Serie A. According to Gazzetta, the Juventus midfielder is back on the west Londoners' radar.
And, Calciomercato say that Ziyech may be involved in discussions as a potential swap deal hangs in the balance. In June, French outlet L'Equipe, via GFFN, said that the France international asked to leave Juventus.
The report stated that Manchester United and Newcastle joined Chelsea on the list of clubs interested in his services. It has been reported that the Old Lady set an asking price in the region of £15million for Rabiot's services.
After failing to offload the Frenchman in the summer, Juventus may find it hard to ask for such fee in January with his contract expiring in the summer. If Chelsea were to go forward with a Ziyech-Rabiot swap deal then it would kill two birds with one stone and aid Todd Boehly in his winter window planning.
But, Ziyech is valued at £26.3million by CIES Football Observatory and sees his deal at Stamford Bridge expire in 2025. So, the Blues would technically be at a loss...
