New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is on red alert as Paris Saint-Germain have a potential Neymar replacement lined up if the Blues or another Premier League club make a big-money move for the Brazilian this summer.
It's been a busy few months in Paris after the conclusion of the 2021/22 season. Another Champions League disappointment has resulted in owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi reviewing many different aspects of the club. As a result, Mauricio Pochettino and Leonardo have made way for some new ideas to be injected into the Ligue 1 standard-bearers. Lille's title-winning manager Christopher Galtier and well-known sporting director Luis Campos are the next ones to try and crack the near-impossible Champions League code.
At the same time, it has been reported that French star Kylian Mbappe has been given more power at the top of the club to have an influence on certain decisions made following his decision to stay. One decision that is causing a lot of discussion at this moment at PSG is the future of Neymar. There have been conflicting reports on the future of the 30-year-old with Campos willing to cash in on the 30-year-old this summer but one of his agents had revealed that his clients' ambitions and loyalty remains with winning Paris Saint-Germain their first-ever Champions League title.

Regardless of each person's and club's stance around a situation described by Marca as an impossible situation to solve this summer in the transfer market, three Premier League clubs could potentially prove this not to be the case with a certain French outlet name-checking all of Thomas Tuchel's side, Man United and Newcastle as three potential destinations for Neymar.
Chelsea themselves have their priorities set on Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele but if an opportunity arose like it has potentially done with Cristiano Ronaldo, new owner Boehly could easily direct his attentions elsewhere in favour of making a 'marquee' signing- something he promised Tuchel when allocating him his £200million plus transfer budget for this summer.
And maybe PSG's number 10 could really be leaving this summer to England, in spite of his own previous wishes of not wanting to play in the Premier League during his playing days, as the Parisians have reportedly lined up their prime target if a suitable offer was to be lodged for a player Tuchel has praised heavily in the past when both were together in Ligue 1.
According to French Journalist Diego Martel, he has revealed that Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby is seen as a viable heir to the Brazilian's throne. His latest tweet on the situation translated to: 'In case of departure of Neymar from PSG, we can expect that the Parisian club will seriously try to bring back Moussa Diaby in Paris.'
Whether or not Chelsea take on this opportunity to pull off what would be the signing of the summer remains to be seen but they can be nudged into taking a chance on this big deal after what has happened with their other targets in the form of Raphinha and Richarlison.
The former of the pair is bound for Arsenal whilst the latter, despite having Chelsea ranked above Tottenham in his priority list, is set to join the Lilywhites in a deal that could reach up to £60m without any players included in the transfer operation. This is according to GOAL's Bruno Andrade whose tweet translated to: 'Richarlison: Despite Chelsea's interest, talks between Tottenham and Everton are moving in a positive light. With the Brazilian striker there is already a negotiation well underway. Agreement should be around £60m (in principle, without involving players in exchange).'
With the Everton forward almost certainly off the agenda now, can Neymar come back on it? Only time will tell.
