New Chelsea owner has his eyes on a certain Premier League star who is valued at £68million in case Jules Kounde wasn't to sign this summer for the Blues.
Kounde, 23, has been a long-term target for the current World Champions and if it wasn't for a last-minute change of stance from Sevilla director of football Monchi last summer, the 5ft 8in defender would have already completed his first season in the Premier League as a Blues player. However, that didn't happen then but now, with Sevilla in needs to raise funds through player sales despite the nearly £30million plus generated from the sale of Diego Carlos to Aston Villa, his defensive partner is set to be shown the exit doors with the Andalusian's already preparing for their 'goodbyes' to the La Liga star.
The latest reports from local media back in Spain suggest that the Blues and other interested parties could potentially poach Sevilla's number 23 for a reduced fee that would mean that he would be sold for £14m less than his market value.
