There were a number of positives from England's dominant 6-2 win over Iran in their opening game of the 2022 World Cup, but perhaps none more so than the performance of Jude Bellingham.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is wanted by a number of Premier League giants including Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea and further justified the price tag placed on his shoulders by the German club with an exceptional performance in the Three Lions midfield.

Following a stuttered start to their game against Iran following a delay because of the injury suffered to Iran goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvandmay with a suspected concussion, Bellingham opened the scoring on 35 minutes meeting Luke Shaw's perfectly-weighted cross.
