Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is keen to poach Paris Saint-Germain's Luis Campos as their new sporting director, according to new reports.
Boehly himself had been serving as an interim sporting director over the summer after the departure of Marina Granovskaia. Working alongside then-manager Thomas Tuchel, the American had overseen a busy few months of spending, with no other Premier League club spending more than the Blues' £270m.
With Tuchel sacked just a month into the season and Graham Potter brought in as manager, the spending might not be over. The new boss is expected to be backed in January, and Campos - who took on a football advisor role with PSG over the summer - has been eyed up to work alongside Potter to identify new targets.
