Today has been declared ‘Aaron Donald Day’ in Pittsburgh

We’ve said several times that there wasn’t much left for Aaron Donald to accomplish after finally winning a Super Bowl. Turns out, we were wrong because he still hadn’t had a day named after him.

Well, that changed on Friday when Ed Gainey, the mayor of Pittsburgh, declared March 4, 2022 Aaron Donald Day. Donald was in Pittsburgh with his family to celebrate this awesome honor, being recognized for not only his impact as an NFL player with the Rams, but for his path to superstardom as a Pittsburgh native and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

Gainey also highlighted Donald’s foundation, AD99 Solutions, which has had a positive impact on youth in Pittsburgh.

On Twitter, Donald’s foundation shared another photo from today’s recognition, thanking the mayor for recognizing the Rams star.
