'Today!' - Arsenal supporters excited as deadline to reveal third summer signing arrives

Matt Turner is celebrating his 28th birthday today (June 24), and some Arsenal supporters on social media think the conditions are perfect for a transfer announcement.

The USNMT goalkeeper's move to north London is potentially the worst-kept secret in all of football, especially when his current club New England Revolution revealed in February that they had reached an agreement with the Gunners for a £4.5m transfer that could rise to £7.5m with further bonuses.

"The New England Revolution have agreed to terms for goalkeeper Matt Turner to join Arsenal of the English Premier League in a summer transfer for an undisclosed fee pending completion of a medical," a statement via their official website read.
