Tobias Harris chirped at ‘casual’ Sixers fans who would trade him for a Crumbl Cookie

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris doesn’t sound too intimidated by any amount of trade speculation.

Talking with media this week, Harris blasted “casual Sixers fans” for being willing to trade him away for “a Crumbl Cookie” amid word that he could be a trade candidate this summer.

Harris said that the Sixers would be hard-pressed to find someone in a trade who could provide more than he could on the court.

“They have to realize, like, you’re not getting a six-nine forward back who can damn near shoot 40-percent from three, guard other teams’ best player, shoot, post-up, drive, play 70-plus games a year,” Harris said in his assessment of any trade rumors.

While Crumbl Cookies are certainly delicious, there’s no denying how scathing Harris’ comments are about casual fans who think they can trade him for any return and that better Philadelphia.

Hilariously, though, Crumbl Cookies responded to Harris’ quote with a bold promise if he sticks around with the Sixers.

As the Sixers attempt to get over the hump in the Eastern Conference, having a player like Harris certainly helps that pursuit. If he’s traded, like he argues, you really aren’t guaranteed that the return will match what you already have.

All the Crumbl Cookies in the world couldn’t fix a botched Harris trade for Philadelphia, no matter how good the flavors are.
