TMC leader Shakir Ali gets conditional bail in Ram Navami violence case

TMC EC NIA Hooghly West Bengal

Kolkata: A special court on Friday granted conditional bail to TMC leader Shakir Ali, husband of former Lok Sabha MP of the party, in an NIA case in connection with violence during Ram Navami rallies in West Bengal's Hooghly district in 2023.

Ali, a former councillor in Rishra municipality, was arrested on Tuesday from his residence there in Hooghly district.
