Kilkenny hurler TJ Reid jetted off to Dubai on his honeymoon days after Ballyhale Shamrocks' All-Ireland defeat to Ballygunner.
The couple tied the knot in front of close family and friends in Limerick's Adare Manor in a stunning winter wedding back in November.
But the newlyweds are only getting to celebrate their honeymoon now due to TJ's commitments with Ballyhale Shamrocks, reports RSVP Live.
The Kilkenny club won the county championship before going on to win the Leinster title. However, they were defeated by a spirited Ballygunner side in the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship last weekend.
TJ and Niamh were joined by a very familiar face from the world of GAA after checking into the opulent Sofitel in Dubai's Jumeirah Beach district.
Ger Aylward and his girlfriend Ciara Hendy toasted to the pair as they enjoyed dinner and cocktails at FIVE Jumeirah Village. TJ and Niamh also took in the sights and sounds of the sunny destination as they flaunted their toned bodies during a boat trip from Dubai Marina Yacht Club.
