TJ Reid and his wife Niamh De Brún have shared a lovely photo to mark Niamh being 22 weeks pregnant.
The couple, who wed last November in her native Adare, beamed as they posed for the camera.
Niamh captioned it: "The best is yet to come #22weeks"
TJ and his Cats teammates have been recuperating as a panel after their monumental effort on Sunday which saw them push Limerick right to the edge in a thrilling All-Ireland final.
Despite now being 34, the Ballyhale man was still one of the best players on the pitch in sweltering conditions.
While he didn't score from play, he was almost flawless from placed balls as he amassed a total of 0-9 while setting up a further eight points.
He also won a tonne of primary possession throughout and in one instance, caught a long ball pucked into him despite the close attentions of two Treaty defenders and hand passed it on leading to their second goal which really gave them hope that they could dethrone the champions.
That evening Sunday Game pundit Brendan Cummins paid a glowing tribute to all that the centre-forward has achieved throughout an illustrious career.
The Tipp great also acknowledged that he didn't intend it to sound like he was ushering him into retirement given how he's still one of the top players in the game and may well come back for another season or two in the black and amber.
