The Tennessee Titans are reportedly getting one of their wide receivers back in Week 13, as second-year wideout Treylon Burks is expected to play.
The news comes from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Burks has missed the past month due to a concussion suffered in the Week 9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It has been a very disappointing season for Burks up until this point. Once pegged as a potential breakout candidate, Burks has missed a total of six games this season and hasn’t produced much when on the field.
The Arkansas product has eight catches for 122 yards in five games and 70 of those yards came on one catch in Week 2 versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
As of right now, wide receiver is one of the Titans’ biggest needs going into the 2024 offseason, mostly because the team can’t depend on Burks after what has transpired over his first two years.
It may be too late for Burks to change that, but he can at least provide some hope for his third season if he can stay healthy and finish strong.
