Titans vs. Ravens: Staff picks, predictions for Week 6 game

The Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens will meet in Week 6 in a matchup between two teams looking to bounce back from a loss.

Tennessee dropped their Week 5 game against the Indianapolis Colts, while the Ravens are coming off a defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The caveat to the latest chapter in this rivalry is the fact that the game is in London. It’ll be interesting to see how both teams acclimate to the change, especially when they took very different approaches to travel.

The Ravens left very early in the week on Monday morning, hoping that more time would allow their players to get better situated. The Titans took the opposite approach, leaving on Thursday night.

If you ask sportsbooks and the vast majority of NFL experts, the Titans won’t win this game.

But what does our staff think will happen? Find out now as Shaun Calderon and Mike Moraitis make their picks and predictions for the Week 6 contest between the Titans and Ravens.

I believe we see a motivated Titans team that is desperate to get themselves to 3-3 before the bye week.

I think the Titans’ trio of DeAndre Hopkins, Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears all have big games in their own right, while the defense does just enough to limit the Ravens’ offense.

This contest will be close throughout, but in the end, I think the Titans find a way to leave London with a much-needed victory by the slimmest of margins.

Final score prediction: Titans 23, Ravens 21

Tennessee is coming off another disappointing loss, and as a result there aren’t many out there who believe the Titans beat the Ravens — and this is exactly the kind of game the Mike Vrabel-led Titans win.

Tennessee’s ground game struggles once again, but the passing attack is able to carry the load off solid performances by Ryan Tannehill and DeAndre Hopkins.

The defense won’t have its best game and Lamar Jackson will get his yards, but the unit does just enough to put Tennessee over the top.

Final score prediction: Titans 24, Ravens 23
