The Tennessee Titans will talking to a lot of 2023 NFL draft prospects at the wide receiver position ahead of April’s event, as that spot is one of the team’s biggest needs to address this offseason.
After learning that the Titans were set to meet with TCU wideout, Quentin Johnston, we can also add Ole Miss wide receiver Jonathan Mingo to the group of players Tennessee will talk to more in-depth.
While down at the 2023 NFL Combine on Friday, Mingo revealed that he is set to have an in-person meeting with the Titans next week, according to AtoZ Sports Nashville’s Buck Reising.

Here’s a look at some of the 6-foot-2, 225-pound wideouts strengths and weakness, per The Draft Network’s Keith Sanchez:
Top Reasons to Buy In:
Run-after-the-catch ability
Play strength
Playmaking ability
Top Reasons For Concern:
Ability to separate vertically
Route-running
Can he catch the ball away from his body?
While Mingo doesn’t have the vertical speed the Titans need, he does meet what they’re looking for in terms of size and physicality and is similar to another former Ole Miss receiver the Titans used to have.
The wide receiver position is one of the toughest ones to gauge this cycle due to the myriad of projections we’re seeing from experts, but Mingo figures to get selected at some point on Day 2.
