Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter of the Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Chargers but was able to return to the game.
Buy Titans TicketsThe injury happened on the first offensive series for Tennessee when Tannehill had his ankle rolled up on by Chargers edge rusher Khalil Mack.
The veteran signal-caller stayed down on the field for a bit before walking off under his own power. He was then carted to the locker room from the sideline and it looked like his day might be done.
However, Tannehill reemerged from the back with his ankle heavily taped and was able to return to the game. Rookie quarterback Malik Willis played one drive while Tannehill was getting looked at.
Tannehill recently dealt with a right ankle injury that forced him to miss two games in Weeks 8 and 9. It’ll be interesting to see if his mobility will be limited the rest of the way.
