Heading into the offseason, most people understood that the Tennessee Titans would have to use a band-aid to try and fix the offensive line woes, given the team’s cap situation.
The real head-scratcher was choosing to give a $29 million contract to Andre Dillard, who we rarely got to see play during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles — and when we did, it’s not like he was some world-beater.

The Washington State product is currently on pace to allow 34 sacks and 91 pressures. To compare, Dennis Daley finished last year with 12 sacks and 52 pressures allowed.
Dillard definitely isn’t the only problem upfront, but he sure is the biggest one of them all.
The Titans cannot have their biggest liability playing the most important position on the offensive line and then act shocked when the offense is underwhelming.
I don’t care how talented a team is, having a turnstile protecting the blindside is always going to result in a panicky quarterback.
As a team, the Titans have allowed 13 sacks in three games, which would put them on pace for a 74-sack season, 25 more than the team allowed in 2022 (49).
If the Titans want any chance of saving their season, they have to find a way to get this under control, and sooner rather than later.
