After a dreadful performance by the Tennessee Titans’ offensive line in Week 3, fans are rightly calling for changes to be made, and specifically at left tackle, where Andre Dillard has struggled badly.
Dillard, who had the unenviable task of taking on superstar pass-rusher, Myles Garrett, was responsible for seven pressures and three sacks, according to Pro Football Focus.
Buy Titans TicketsOf course, some of the blame lies on the Titans’ coaching staff, which didn’t give Dillard nearly enough help during the contest. However, it’s also fair to expect much better out of Tennessee’s left tackle.
Dillard’s six sacks given up are twice as many as any other tackle in the NFL and his struggles over his first three games have made him public enemy No. 1 and someone who is the top candidate to be replaced upfront.
As far as the possibility of changes along the offensive line go, head coach Mike Vrabel didn’t rule it out on Monday.
“We’ll continue to look and see what’s best and where guys go, but as it stands here right now, today, I don’t see something changing until we have some more time to visit on it tomorrow and see who is available, see who is healthy,” Vrabel said, per Jim Wyatt.

The top in-house candidate to replace Dillard if the Titans do decide to make a switch has to be 2023 first-round pick, Peter Skoronski, who was a great left tackle in college but slid inside upon arriving in the NFL.
But before he can even be considered, Skoronski has to return from an appendectomy that has kept him out the past two games. On that front, Vrabel wasn’t sure if the Northwestern product would be back this week.
“I’m sure there’s a chance but I’m not sure how big or how small the chance is,” Vrabel said, according to AtoZ Sports.
Vrabel’s comments give some hope that the Titans are at least considering a change, but don’t get your hopes up. After all, this is the same head coach who stuck with Dennis Daley for as long as he did in 2022.
