On Friday, Madden NFL 23 revealed its ratings for quarterbacks, and in them Tennessee Titans 2022 third-round pick Malik Willis ended up as one of the fastest quarterbacks in the game.
Willis’ speed rating comes in at a 92, tying him with the Arizona Cardinals’ Kyler Murray for the second-highest mark at the quarterback position. As you’d expect, the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson (96) is the fastest.
The rating is accurate after Willis was an absolute menace on the ground in college thanks to his game-breaking speed. The Liberty product tallied 1,822 yards and 27 touchdowns in his last two years in college.
As far as overall rating is concerned, Willis comes in at a 69, which isn’t much of a surprise considering he’s a rookie. However, that rating is actually good enough for the second-best among rookie quarterbacks, falling behind only the Atlanta Falcons’ Desmond Ridder.
Willis is also getting some love in the throw power department, as his 94 is tied for the fifth-best mark. Meanwhile, Ryan Tannehill didn’t fare too bad with his rating that ranks tied for the 13th-highest in the game.
Now, here’s a look at how all three of Tennessee’s quarterbacks fared with their overall ratings in Madden NFL 23, as well as the top 10 players in different ratings.
