The Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars will do battle in Week 18 in Duval for the AFC South title, and now we know when the game will take place.
At the conclusion of the Week 17 Sunday night game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, the NFL announced that the Titans and Jaguars will play at 7:15 p.m. CST on Saturday, January 7.
There was a possibility that the Titans-Jags game could get flexed to Sunday night, but the league has opted for another yet-to-be-announced game.
The Titans started the season 7-3 but hit a six-game losing streak while the Jags have caught fire to erase Tennessee’s once-comfortable lead in the AFC South, setting up the do-or-die game this week.

The Titans will have to go into Jacksonville without their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who was lost for the season with an ankle injury. The team’s season will now rest on the shoulders of Joshua Dobbs.
